How does one bring new perspectives and explore different concepts while being immersed in a similar environment? The differences present us with opportunities to explore new perceptions. At the same time, the similarity bridges the gap between present state and future state. The reflections and refractions, inherent in the process, made me think about things from new perspectives. In reflection, in the similar environment or system, light triggers different directions and angles through the medium. In refraction, in different contexts and systems, light triggers similar directions and different content through the medium. Reflection and refraction trigger similarity and difference. The focus of this thesis is defining the methods of refraction and reflection to explore new perspectives of stereotypes.
