Relationship between space and human behavior, cognition, emotions.
Tian Zhang
Space is everywhere. Space is an unlimited and incalculably great three-dimensional realm which is free, available, unoccupied; space can be a city, an architecture, a living room, even virtual reality, or cyberspace.
My study explores the relationship between space and emotional human behavior, as informed by genetic makeup, cultural, and individual attitudes, and values. My investigation will also attempt to answer the larger question of how immersive experiences, characterized by deep absorption, can deeply influence human cognition, and how human’s physical and emotional behaviors are affected by the space(s) around us.
