Misogyny is at the core of the binary gender order. Female misogyny directly leads to the further strengthening of the patriarchal system. And mass media, as a communication tool, undoubtedly plays an accomplice role in strengthening female misogyny. Based on the study of female misogyny under the patriarchal system, this paper attempts to explore its development in the mass media. And through the exploration of gender issues in media, it extends to the situation of women in design. This paper tries to discuss the possibility of eliminating misogynistic culture from the perspective of design methods. The goal is to make women aware of the effects misogyny has on them.
