This thesis discusses the relationship between age and technology through a feminist lens. Design plays an important role in creating inclusion for older women on online platforms. As communication designers, we both need to be aware of the impact of our design and the systems and structures that are inherent and cause harm to individuals. Design is a reflection of our cultural values, which is why design today needs to take into account our individual differences. Society at large loses if this isn’t addressed, especially those who are marginalized.
