Insects are one of the most familiar strangers in the world. On one hand, they are so common that they can be found everywhere. Yet, insects are mysterious. They have nothing in common with humans, people know little about them. Numerous rumors and horrific stories about insects make the situation even worse. Over-exaggerated and unrealistic insect stories plant fear into people’s minds and finally drive people away from insects.
My thesis will try to be explorative and educational. It focuses on bringing insects back to people’s lives. It aims to clear up the confusion and offer possible solutions.
