The coronavirus has triggered both a pandemic and an “infodemic” of hoaxes, conspiracy theories, honest misunderstandings, and politicized scientific debates.Through these substantial changes in social communication norms brought about by the rise of supposed authoritative reporting that lacks objectivity, we must question how to rethink our perception of authenticity and objectivity information.

Seeing differently
This project comes from Object-Oriented Ontology, which means the relationship between humans and objects is not accounted for in human perception. Because objectivity is a record that contains multidimensional information, it is important to change lenses and think critically about the information we’re given.
Curate the truth
Curate the truth is a participatory project that invites the audience to categorize the concepts according to their own value judgments. By documenting the process and results of people’s participation in this activity, I got completely different outcomes. It is difficult to define which one is absolutely neutral and objective because there is always a legit reason behind each choice.
