Artificial intelligence and machine learning are causing significant disruption in the field of graphic design. Despite the fact that this disruption presents new opportunities, it also raises ethical dilemmas within the industry and calls the future of human designers into question. As the use of artificial intelligence in graphic design continues to grow, doubts persist regarding who will benefit and at what cost. Through my thesis, I attempt to investigate the relationship between AI and human designers and devise a strategy for navigating the future's uncertainty.

While working on my thesis on "Artificial Intelligence in Graphic Design," I noticed a significant difference in how AI and designers operate. To overcome this gap, I created a capstone project that demonstrates the partnership between the two. The capstone project shows how AI and designers interact when given the same prompt. AI has the ability to take data from us and create something which then we have the ability to manipulate. I have used methods like layering and spray painting to showcase my interpretation of a specific prompt on top of the AI generated image.

Thesis Book: Genesis App
To explore the relationship and collaboration between artists and AI, I created an iPad® supported application called 'Genesis' that helps creators with art pieces, samples and visual interpretation. This application works as a collaborative platform between humans and AI. The image editing tools are more enhanced than the competition, and the app focuses more on collaboration than technology. It also makes sure that it works within the ethical boundaries and maximizes the potential of its user/designer.
