Redefining the relationship between humans and animals
Woraphan Jampachaisri
Humans are the most self-centered living beings on earth. We have used up vast amounts of resources on this earth without consideration for the consequence for other living beings and caused the most direct impact on this planet than all other living species combined. We treat ourselves as more important and more valuable than all other living beings. Imagine a world where humans and animals live in harmony. Where we treat animals with the same level of respect and dignity that we treat human beings. It has become my mission to make people aware of human self-centeredness. And as a designer, my aim is to use communication design to help others gain insight into themselves and connect them to, and be in conversation with, other species on this earth.

Animals are just like us!
A children's book that aims to serve as a foundation for young learners to develop their connections with animals by learning how they show and express their emotions to each other.

Animals are just like us!
People often share how they feel with each other by expressing their emotions. Have you ever thought about what emotions animals express to each other? Even though animals can’t talk to us, perhaps they share a lot in common with us.

Capstone Project: Learning from Animals
This is a series of books that aims to help people navigate the world by learning something from animals. By choosing the qualities you want to achieve, the books will show how animals deal with certain emotions and what we can learn from them. These books address various qualities, including: calmness, power, teamwork, resourcefulness, independence, and patience.

How can we learn to keep calm?
Let’s be an Owl! Owls are known for being an animal that represents calm. They are nocturnal creatures that bring the energy of focus, stillness, and calm.

How can we learn to be independent?
Let’s be a Bear! Bears are naturally solitary animals. Because bears eat so much, they require areas where they can hunt for food without being too crowded by other animals. During mating season is the only time they live together..

How can we learn to have teamwork?
Let’s be a Bee! Bees are the most collaborative insects, and we usually see them living in groups. The social ties them in the hive together. Within their groups, they each have their own responsibilities for helping each other and taking care of their hives.
