Unexpected Convergence refers to the surprising result when two different, unrelated, or even opposing elements, objects, or concepts come together and merge. These unforeseen, unpredictable, uncontrollable, and unforeseeable things are very annoying to most people, even to me. Nobody desires to intentionally set themselves up for failure; following a methodical, departmentalized approach and advancing step by step is the path most recommended by the majority of educational guidelines. But I don't think it's a bad thing to break the convention of jumping out of the box, and even I think we need that idea and behavior more in the design field.
