The notion of a Liquid Society encapsulates the dynamic and ever-changing nature of contemporary life, where individuals
constantly undergo transformations as they navigate diverse geographical spaces. This concept, epitomized by the term
"Fluidity", encompasses the shifting relationships, identities, and systems of global economic exchange in today's
world. With the advent of globalization, technological advancements, and the omnipresence of social media, individuals
are increasingly liberated from traditional constraints, thereby allowing them to easily transcend borders, cultural
barriers, and language obstacles.
Exploring Fluidity Through Book
Embracing the concept of fluidity, I traverse the myriad dimensions of books, exploring their diverse levels, sizes, and
materials as fluid carriers for my design works, poems, and concepts, embodying them in a fluid form.

Performance | Liquid Society: The Global Soul
A postmodern wanderer, according to Pico Iyer, is a global soul. My project "The Global Soul" is a performance based on
built digital generation models in TouchDesigner.
Living in uncertain ages, however, the boundaries of what it means to be "us" seem increasingly distant. As a result of
the negative globalization, which undermines the rights and identity of minorities. A large portion of the global
population lives a nomadic life, lacking the opportunity to be a global soul, trapped within the confines of
socioeconomic disparities and geopolitical realities. The uncertainty, loneliness, and fear of the future of global
citizens find no solutions in institutions. I seek to envision a world in which fluidity becomes a universal human
experience, transcending the limitations imposed by privilege and the negative aspects of globalization. Even for the
minority, everyone has the opportunity to imagine and become a global soul.
Performance | Liquid Society: Flowing
We're always in flow. Carrying our iconic objects as evidence of the global soul - our suitcases, passports, languages,
memory carriers... They also become the silent narrators of our evolving story.
As we flow, we leave tangible and intangible traces in our memories, our paths, our bodies, and so on. Sometimes, we
will encounter obstacles, we will be lost and confused to find our own way. As a global soul, we enrich our personal
identities in this process, we gain what, and we lose what.
Interactive Program | Be Fluid: Transform
We have always been fluid people. Compared to earlier times, we are more fluid and no longer bound by space - we
constantly transcend traditional boundaries, crossing borders, cultural barriers, and language obstacles to engage in
interactions and exchanges with people from all around the world. This freedom allows our thinking and identities to no
longer be confined to a specific location or background.
We are individuals in the digital space, collectively presenting a fluid visualization, which also shows that although
we have developed and presented a plurality of individual identities in this space, we are essentially the same
self-structure that we originally constituted, we may be genes, pixels, a drop of liquid in it.
Design Experiment | Fluid Identities: Mask
Our notion of "self" has become more fluid today, while its boundaries have always been fluid - we have evolved our
concept of "fluid identity" alongside the development of tools and technologies.
