However, modernization has led to the erosion of its tangible and intangible heritage. This thesis explores how emerging
technologies like AR, digital preservation, and 3D printing can revitalize Huizhou culture, making it more immersive,
accessible, and participatory. By bridging tradition and innovation, the project aims to transform Huizhou culture into
a dynamic cultural memory space, preserving its essence while reshaping people’s relationship with heritage in
contemporary contexts.
