Wei-Ya (Catherine) Fang
Is the circle an illusion of perfection?

Can true freedom be found within the boundaries of control?

The circle is used as a visual and symbolic representation of perfection—a form that historically embodies balance, completeness, and harmony. By inviting participants to trace a perfect form, the work reveals the tension between control and surrender, questioning whether true freedom can exist within boundaries and if imperfection might be a more honest reflection of being.
