Current experiential design practices rarely produce truly visceral responses. To make these experiences more impactful, this thesis proposes an immersive installation that employs motion design, sound application, and conceptual storytelling to reflect the emotional and psychological experience of being awestruck. This performance will narrate three modular stages of awe — Displacement, Reverie, and Restoration – to elicit a similar response in the viewer.
