Ethical Rating System for Food Packaging

This capstone project aimed to create an ethical rating system to promote informed consumerism on food products that incorporated audits and reviews by institutions. The examining criteria are based on the food products’ packaging information. Specifically, its authenticity, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility. This project allows food shoppers to investigate and uncover both the product’s and packaging’s myths. The concept of a badge design is integrated to reward brands with excellent scores who are committed to better food community and culture.
