The design solution aims to address the preservation of cultural identity. This solution is required due to the growing
disconnection from heritage and tradition, the widening generational gaps, and the on-going cultural erosion happening
today. I’ve designed and created a traditional infused kit for the culturally curious that uses all the senses to
immerse users in a cultural experience to either connect or reconnect with heritage in a technology-free way.

Kit Display - At Pratt Shows
The kit is displayed on a shelf at Pratt Shows, inviting users to test and interact with it. Surrounding the kit, an
explanatory board outlines each component and its function, offering context and enhancing user engagement.

Kit Exterior - Capstone Final Presentation
The exterior of the kit features layered 3D graphics of historical landmarks in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. The architectural
elements double as a locking mechanism, seamlessly integrated into the design. Showcased during the final capstone
presentation for faculty and students at Pratt Institute.
