NVSHU is an online platform for female creators, inspired by Jiangyong Nvshu—a unique script developed and used
exclusively by women in Hunan, China. Recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, Nvshu was more than just a writing
system; it was a secret language of sisterhood, storytelling, and resilience in a patriarchal world.
Built on this legacy, NVSHU reimagines Nvshu’s spirit for today’s creative women—offering a supportive space to connect,
collaborate, and express their authentic voices. From digital exhibitions to zines and workshops, NVSHUJ celebrates
female creativity rooted in cultural identity, community, and shared strength.

Exploring the NVSHU Platform
Take a 1-minute tour of the NVSHU website—exploring three core sections: the Blog for latest updates and reflections,
the Zine featuring voices of Gen Z female creators, and the About page where you’ll discover the story behind the
platform and its cultural roots.

#issue 01
In the Issues section, I interview three female creators each time to share their personal journeys. In the first issue,
I featured myself and two other Gen Z creators.

Creative Designer: Yimeng
The first creator I interviewed is myself. I shared my journey as a designer driven by the desire to express emotion and
bring beauty into others’ lives.

Art Director: Lantern
Lantern shared her thoughts on why she transitioned from illustration to a broader focus on art direction.

Illustrator: Armin
Armin shares how her mother has shaped and inspired her creative journey.

Here’s a glimpse of the blog—where users can share personal stories, creative reflections, and thoughts. It works like a
social platform, but is built specifically for female creators.
